Individual travel – your private travel.

Maybe you already have concrete plans for your private tour. But maybe not. In both cases we are looking forward to a planning with you, in addition we have prepared a lot of travel suggestions for you. On the one hand, the day trips are in and around Dhaka, on the other remote destinations all over the country. But – just as the destinations of our tours are not the ultimate highlight, the trip is not the necessary evil to achieve this! No, far from it! The journey itself, is our real goal! On the way there is so much to discover, which makes it impossible for us to list everything meticulously, but let you experience the most beautiful moments (with us Travel in Bangladesh – on YouTube). However, you should be aware of the following points:

Timeframe

For a tour of the country, 2 weeks is the absolute minimum. Why this? Traveling in Bangladesh takes time, not because of its size, rather because of the infrastructure. You have only planned a week, because Bangladesh is only a “stopover” within your Asia tour? Of course, you can do that, but generally applies to urgent: decide for a direction, otherwise it will quickly become exhausting.

Travel route

Two things that make it relatively easy: Bangladesh is small and you arrive with few exceptions (Sylhet, Chittagong) always in the centrally located Dhaka. We continue as we planned it together in advance. But consider, not always, each river is navigable, of a train delay one speaks after 10 hours and the road traffic is rather to be understood as a long-term undertaking. So you should already like adventure!

Lodging

Standard is accommodation in hotels of the middle class. In in rural areas the best available accommodations – which does not mean much. In Dhaka we recommend you one of our guest rooms.

Transportation

Depending on the tour, this will of course vary. In principle we try to use all, within a tour. This is not always and everywhere possible or reasonable, so we will be most of the time with one of our cars/micros on the road. Where it is, we will be by train, boat, ferry, bus and, of course, rickshaw.

Boarding

Breakfast is normally scheduled. Everything else is up to you. Countless street kitchens offer a taste experience that you should prefer restaurants in every case. If in doubt, the guide will advise you what is good or what you prefer not to eat.

Attendance

Alone or perhaps not quite alone? We do not want to exaggerate, but the country is not going to be easy, by the way. The country is a great deal, but it also demands and so many of our guests were glad not to be alone. Bangladesh as a destination, but can make solitary. Travel costs

Without having discussed the tour in terms of route, accommodation, food, travel and other details, it is only conditionally possible to make an accurate statement. If, however, we are based on a certain average, you should pay for 2 participants with basic costs of min. 950.00 € per person and week. This includes all the tour-relevant costs, such as mid-class accommodation, breakfast, transports of all kinds, own car with driver, English-speaking guide, entrance fees, costs for various permits, tickets etc. If you like, a sort of “All Inclusive” package.
