Our travel philosophy…
What is special about Bangladesh? The Ganges Delta, the flora and fauna? The temples, pagodas, mosques and palace ruins? The beaches? It may be that all this has its importance, but that you can find elsewhere better, more beautiful, more pompous. The great part of the few tour operators try to present highlights in a country where there are none, actually. None, on an international scale, with one fundamental exception. But this they do not even acknowledge…
It is the people – the most loving and cordial people of this planet – that make the country so unique. People who have often only heard by foreigners, but never seen one and accordingly “virgin” act. If you do not get to know these people, you will not know Bangladesh. Maybe you’re been here on the road but without the people, you will miss the mark! With our tours we want to make a difference, we want that you take something home.
No nonsense, real feelings!
We visit all spots of the country including the World Heritage sites – clearly – but on the way there is so much to discover. We find our highlights in schools, villages and factories, at tea with day laborers, students, fishermen, merchants, small strays, washerwomen and professors because they are Bangladesh and they have – God knows – to tell much more than a museum or a palace ever could. We do not travel to arrive somewhere, the journey itself is the reward! With us Travel in Bangladesh – on YouTube.
Sustainability
We have no great Certificates of obscure organizations. What we have is our love for the country and people as well as ethical principles. Everything else is self-evident. So our partners and employees in Bangladesh are well paid, we avoid international hotel chains and and work closely with national service providers. Your paid tour price remains at least 95 percent here in Bangladesh. Land and people are important to us in everything we do.
